Jesse John Schewe, age 33, died unexpectedly on January 23, 2018. He was born May 8, 1984 in Merrill to John Schewe and the late Barby Jo (Bowers) Schewe.
Jesse was a 2002 graduate of Merrill High School and was currently pursuing his Bachelor’s degree. He cherished his son, Logan and spending time with him was most treasured. The love of the outdoors, hunting and fishing were his most passionate hobbies with family and friends. He was also involved with the arts, both acting and writing. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his father; John (Diane Goetsch) Schewe and her children, Sara Zastrow, Amy and Alex Goetsch, Merrill; son: Logan Carter Maluegge; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barby Jo, and his grandparents.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 4:00 PM at St. Stephen’s United Church of Christ. Rev. Kyle Carnes and Rev. Missy Miller will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 PM until the time of service, also at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jesse’s name to the memorial or charity of your choice.
