Domestic disturbance leads to several charges for Merrill man

In the early morning hours of Saturday, December 9, Merrill officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance on Genesee Street.
Upon arrival, officers met with a party who indicated being involved in an altercation with 24-year-old Eugene Randall III. According to officer notes, the party further indicated being kicked by Randall several times in the abdomen during the altercation. Randall was reportedly called downstairs by another party, at which point he reportedly struck the other individual twice with a closed fist, causing injury to the individual’s right eye area. A third party inside the residence indicated being shoved against a door by Randall and observing Randall “tearing” two telephones from a wall.
Randall was located a short time later at another residence and taken into custody. Randall was found to be on active probation and a hold was subsequently placed by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Division of Probation and Parole.

According to court records, Randall appeared in Lincoln County Circuit Court on Monday, December 11; facing a Felony charge of Domestic Violence related Intimidating a Victim and Misdemeanor charges of Domestic Violence related Criminal Damage to Property, Domestic Violence related Disorderly Conduct and three counts of Domestic Violence related Battery. Randall remains in the custody of the Lincoln County Jail on $1,000 cash bond.
