Hwy. 51 lane closures scheduled to begin next week in Lincoln County

Beginning Monday, April 25, motorists on US Hwy. 51 can expect to encounter daytime single lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 55 MPH between the Marathon/Lincoln County line and the Lincoln/Oneida County line.

The lane closures are necessary for crews to complete routine bridge maintenance. Motorists are reminded to drive with caution in work zones and should be prepared to encounter slow moving vehicles.

All work is scheduled for completion by the end of the day on Thursday, May 5. The schedule is subject to change based on favorable weather conditions.
