Rodeo Queens, Spin the Wheel at T.B. Scott Library

Meet the Rodeo Queens and candidates at T. B. Scott Free Library on Friday morning, June 12, and listen to them read beginning at 10 a.m. in the youth services department. This collaboration with the Wisconsin River Pro Rodeo promotes summer reading as well as the weekend rodeo. All ages are welcome.
Following the Rodeo Queens program on Friday, the 2015 prize wheel will be uncovered and children may begin returning completed reading cards. T.B. Scott Library is celebrating the 2015 theme, “Every Hero Has a Story,” with “Scott-free” reading challenges, special events and in-house fun.
The reading challenge for children continues through July 24 and is open to age 3 through next fall’s grade 5. The “Unmask!” reading challenge for grades 6 to 12 continues through Aug. 15. For preschool children, 1000 Books Before Kindergarten runs all during the year.

June 15- 6-7 p.m. at the library, Tail Waggin’ Tutors (Read to a Dog)
June 16- 12-1:15 p.m. at the library, Lunch Bunch for next fall’s grades 3, 4, 5
June 17- 10 a.m. at PRMS auditorium, Professor Marvel’s Super Hero Magic Show
June 18- 1-3 p.m. at the library, Teen Unmask! Craft Event
June 19- 2-4 p.m. at the library, Minecraft Club
