Man hit on roadway after crashing vehicle

Deputies are still investigating a crash early Sunday in the Town of Harrison that left a Tomahawk man injured.

Preliminary reports indicate a 20-year-old Tomahawk man was driving on Parish Road when he lost control of his vehicle causing it to go off the roadway and crash. As the man stood on the road seeking assistance a second vehicle came through the area and struck the man as he stood on the side of the road.

The second driver, a 29-year-old Merrill man, then crashed his vehicle off the roadway. Deputies were made aware of the crash after the Tomahawk man sought medical treatment at Ministry Sacred Heart Hospital sometime after it took place. Speed and alcohol are considered to be factors in the incident.
