The 4th Annual Very Merrill Christmas cards and prints are now on sale at the Merrill Chamber of Commerce. This year’s card is named “T.B. Scott Mansion – A Winter Night’s Glow” and depicts the T.B. Scott Mansion.
The Chamber of Commerce stopped its annual contest for area artists to submit a work of art that depicts a Merrill Christmas scene this year and invited Ted Nicholson to become its annual artist. Ted Nicholson has been the winning artist for all three preceding Christmas cards. “Merrill has many talented artists, but each year Ted’s paintings have won the judges over with his detail, talent and ability to bring Merrill scenes to life,” said Debbe Kinsey, Chamber CEO. “It’s always a surprise for us to see what the painting is each year and once again, Ted’s painting did not disappoint us.”
Just as in years past, the Chamber is offering three sizes of the print: limited edition signed and certified 12×18 prints for $50; a 10×13 print for $35; and an 8×10 print for $25. Plus Christmas cards are sold in packs of 25 cards/envelopes for $20 or individually for $2 each. The cards and prints are available at the Chamber office during their normal hours Monday thru Friday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. And the Christmas cards are also available at Blooming Wishes and Courtside Furniture.
The Chamber also has a limited number of 2013 Christmas cards and 10×13 and 8×10 prints still available.
