The weather has been cooperating for the Free Summer Lunch for Kids and Teens at Stange’s Park. The free lunches are served every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday through Aug. 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Stange’s Park picnic shelter off 3rd Street in Merrill.
One mom says, “We enjoy coming here and try to come a couple times a week. It provides a good, healthy meal and interaction with other children and families in the community. It also gives us a chance to find out more about the churches in our area.”
The meals are provided by Christ United Methodist, Trinity Lutheran and St. Stephen’s churches.
