On Saturday, May 31, the Merrill Fire Department will be hosting the sale of excess tools and equipment at the old Fire Station #1, 701 E. First St., Merrill. With the move to the new fire station, the Fire Department has cleaned out all the nooks and crannies at the old station.
The surplus items and equipment offered for sale includes tools, exercise equipment, appliances and furniture. The auction starts at 10 a.m. Saturday, with inspection beginning at 8 a.m. The auction is being conducted by Wausau Sales Corp. For more information, visit www.wausauauctioneers.com.
