Dine 11 started last year as a way to expand restaurant food delivery in the Merrill area. Now, under new management, Dine 11 is ready and willing to serve the needs of the Merrill community.
Chris Quade, who managed the Subway restaurant in Merrill for 13 years, found herself unable to go back to her old job after a recent surgery. Not one to sit still, she jumped at the chance to take over coordination of Dine 11 last August. Quade brings 40 years of experience in the food service and restaurant industry to Dine 11.
“I’ve been working with food in all types of situations,” she said, “and I love working with the public.”
Dine 11 currently works with 11 Merrill restaurants to provide delivery service to customers. Restaurants affiliated with Dine 11 include Chip’s Hamburgers, Victory Lane, Subway, Rookie’s, Les & Jim’s, First Street Coffee Station, The Beacon, 3’s Company, Champ’s, Schult’s Country Inn and Skipper’s.
Customers call Dine 11 at 715-218-8900 to place their orders. Dine 11 dispatch then relays the order to the restaurant of choice. Dine 11 delivery drivers pick up the order from the restaurant and deliver it to the customer. The base delivery charge is $2.50 per order for customers within three miles of the Courthouse. Dine 11 will deliver to customers farther from the city center, for an additional fee. Customers can pay the delivery driver for their orders by cash or check. For those paying by credit or debit card, payment will be made to the dispatcher when the order is placed.
Dine 11 service is available seven days a week; basically, any time the participating restaurants are open, Dine 11 is on call. From the time of call to delivery may vary according to the service time at the restaurant, road conditions and distance.
“We’ll do our best to get your order to you as quickly as possible, usually within 45 minutes,” Chris said.
Menus are available online at www.dine-11.com, at participating restaurants or from Dine 11 delivery drivers. The menus include extensive offerings from all of the restaurants.
