Marvin and Darlene Lockhart have recently assumed the role as Children’s Church Pastors at Hillside Fellowship, Merrill, having served in a similar role at Christian Assembly in Wausau. Their transition to Hillside is a welcomed one, since they already live in Merrill with their son Josiah.
Pastor Marvin and Darlene started in children’s evangelism while they were students at North Central University in Minneapolis, serving on the Children’s Evangelistic Team of North Central for two summers under the direction of “Big” Dan Rector. They have done Family Camps for both the Potomac District Council of the Assemblies of God in Virginia and also for the Minnesota District, as well as Kid’s Crusades in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
The congregation is excited and thankful about the Lockharts being a part of the ministry of Hillside Fellowship.
