Celebrate Read Across America at T. B. Scott Free Library

Children with an adult or teen may read together at the library anytime during open hours and register at the youth services desk for a chance to win a Dr. Seuss book. Library hours are 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. on March 2 and noon-4 p.m. on March 3.
The 2013 theme is “Grab your Hat and Read with the Cat.” Wear a special hat or come bare-headed to celebrate the joy of reading at your library.
Now in its 16th year, the National Education Association’s Read Across America is an annual reading motivation and awareness movement asking every child in every community to celebrate reading in honor of the birthday of beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss.
