Lois L. Hein

Lois L. Hein, age 71, of the Town of Scott, Lincoln County, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Lois was born March 25, 1939, in Chicago, daughter of the late Harold and Florence (Hotho) Boettcher. She married James I. Hein on January 5, 1957, in Rhinelander. He survives. Lois was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Merrill. She enjoyed putting puzzles together, making jelly, playing cards, and reading. Most of all, Lois enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Hein, of the Town of Scott; two daughters, Debra (Ronald) Lemmer and Dawn Peterson, both of Merrill; four sons, James Hein, of Rhinelander, Dan (Lisa) Hein, Matt (Lynn) Hein and Tim (Amy) Hein, all of Merrill; twenty-one grandchildren; one step-grandchild; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild on-the-way; one sister, Florence Holewinksi, of Sugar Camp; and one brother, Harold Boettcher, of Eagle River. Lois was preceded in death by her parents.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 12, 2011, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Merrill. Father Michael McLain will preside. Burial will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery, Town of Maine, at a later date. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 A.M. Saturday at the church. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Merrill.
