Sally J. (Burrow) Robbins, age 84, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, on August 31, 2024, at Saddle Ridge Therapy Center (Sheridan, WY).
Sally was one of 16 children and the youngest daughter of the late Arthur Sr. and Dorothy (Shimek) Burrow (Merrill, WI). She spent her childhood and young adulthood In Merrill, where she married the father of her three children.
Sally remarried in 1972, to Paul Robbins, with whom she was with for the remainder of her life. Always the adventurer, Sally lived in Florida, Arizona, and returned to Wisconsin. In 2016, she moved across country to be close to her daughter (and family) in Sheridan, Wyoming. For anyone who knew her, she was fiesty, stubborn (the Burrow trait), and fully enjoyed the life she created. In Sheridan, she actively participated in her church, Grace Anglican (including volunteer work at their thrift store), and loved cruising the aisles at Walmart, playing cards (“31”), and her beloved cats. She expressed her pride in her daughter (Robin) and two grandsons (Matthew and Thaddeus) at any opportunity. She was a beloved mother and grandmother, will be truly missed and remembered in all the “funny grandma” stories.
Survivors include Paul Robbins (spouse, Westview Care Center), Robin Lipke (daughter), and (grandsons), Matthew (and Nichole) Adams, and Thaddeus Lipke. She is also survived by: her grandchildren: Travis Becker, Nicole Becker, Dillon Fuller, great- and great-great-grandchildren; her siblings: Joyce “Totsy” Kleinschmidt, Arlisle “Honey” Weber, Barbara Simpson, Bill Burrow, and Ron Burrow. She is preceded in death by her infant son (Mark Lipke), her daughter (Rhonda Fuller), her parents, and siblings: Dorothy “Sister” Tollefson, Arthur Jr. “Buddy” Burrow, Jacqueline Stiver, Lucille “Molly” McEwen, Geraldine “Jerry” Mahn, Patrick “Nibby” Burrow, Donald “Joe” Burrow, Stuart “Sam” Burrow, and Tom Burrow.
