Nola Wilson found her peace on August 10, 2024 after her battle with dementia, diabetes, and a stroke.
Nola Ann was born in Pontiac, MI along with her twin sister Nancy May on April 21, 1945 to Leo and Eva Morris. She met Gerald (Jerry) Wilson in high school and married in November 1966. Together they had two daughters Pamela and Christine.
The family relocated to Edgar, WI in 1982, where they remained until both girls graduated high school. Jerry and Nola relocated to Merrill, WI where they remained for over 40 years. In 2020 they relocated to Stevens Point, WI to be closer to family.
Nola leaves behind husband Jerry and her two daughters Pam (Patrick) Swope, and Christine Wilson. She also leaves her grandchildren Mitchell (India) Wilson, Patrick Wilson, and Jordyn Swope, and her great-grandson Marlinn. Also behind are her “no-brother-good-in-law” James Moore, Mosinee, Jim (Kristy) Moore, Mosinee, Scott (Tricia) Moore, Minnesota, Jay Moore, Round Lake, IL, and Jerry (Jenny) Moore, Utah, along with her grand-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both of her parents and her twin sister Nancy Moore.
The family wishes to thank everyone at Maple Ridge Memory Care where Nola resided during her final time with us, as well as Aspirus St. Michael’s Hospital, Stevens Point and Inclusa Management Care Organization.
The family asks that remembrances are made in the name of Nola Wilson to the Humane Society, as Nola was a huge animal lover.
