Greg Hartwig, who is Vice Chair of the Lincoln County Republican Party, organized a flotilla on Lake Alexander this past Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024, with a Donald Trump theme. “The on and off sprinkles kept some people away but we had about a dozen boats,” Hartwig said. “People were watching from shore and on their docks.”
The boats were decorated with American flags, Trump signs and flags, and one even had a near life-size blow-up doll of former U.S. President Donald Trump and the Republican candidate for this year’s Nov. Presidential election.
This is the second such flotilla Hartwig has organized, with the same theme. “We had one four years ago, it was in the same location, [and] was a fun way to get people out on the water,” he said.
“Wish the weather was nicer, but we all had a good time,” Hartwig said.
