LeeAnn (Annie) Marie Shellenberger, 35, of Merrill, WI, passed away on May 3rd, 2024, at Aspirus Hospice House in Wausau, WI after a years long battle with various health complications. Annie was born on January 29th, 1989 to Gary and Angela Shellengerger in Marshfield, WI.

Celebration of Life will be held at the Corning Town Hall on August 10th, 2024 at 1:00 pm. Everyone is welcome.

Annie graduated from Merrill High School in 2008. While in school she participated in Special Olympics Track and Field and bowling, along with many other activities. After graduation Annie enjoyed going to daycare where she would spend time with her friends, go on community outings, making crafts and learning new dance moves that she couldn’t wait to show off.

Annie also loved watching movies, especially scary movies, playing with her puppy Rudy, listening to music, camping and boating, going on trips to visit family and joking with everyone around her. It was rare to find Annie without a smile or laughing. She had the ability to light up any room she walked into and brighten anyone’s day. Annie played a huge role in her nephew and nieces lives and loved spending time with them. She enriched not just her families life, but countless others in the community.

Annie leaves behind her parents, Gary and Angela Shellenberger, brothers Bill Anthoney and David Shellenberger, sisters Paula Anthoney and Brandi Zahn, paternal grandmother Helen Shellenberger, maternal grandfather John Luse, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
