The students at Kate Goodrich showcased their enthusiasm for reading and generosity during Read Across America Week. With their theme, “We’re Wild About Reading,” they embarked on a coin drive, turning every page into an opportunity to make a difference. The first graders led the way, raising the most money in their friendly competition between grade levels. Together, Kate Goodrich raised an impressive total of $1,744.50 which was donated to the Lincoln County Humane Society. “Thank you to all the students, parents, and staff for your incredible support and dedication to literacy. Let’s continue spreading the joy of reading and kindness!” organizers said.
