Nathanial “Nate” John Allar, age 41, of the township of Harrison Hills, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. He was born on May 31, 1982 to Gerald and Tammy (Ellenbecker) Allar in Milwaukee, WI. Nate attended Waukesha North High School, where he played soccer and varsity football. He graduated in 2000. He went on to further his education, studying fine arts and digital media, and earned his bachelor’s degree from UW-Milwaukee. In his younger years, Nate had so much fun working and making friends as a manager for Jimmy John’s. He was an artist in every sense of the word, whether it was with charcoal, paint, photography or writing. He had a skill and eye for all types of art, photography and found object installation. He loved to sing and strum along with his favorite artists’ music as well as playing his original songs on his guitar. Nate enjoyed finding uniqueness and beauty in God’s creation, and he was able to bring that out in his work. He was also very handy when it came to helping his parents renovate and remodel their home on Long Lake in the Harrison Hills. Nate loved fishing and did so quite often on the lake, always going after that big bass and making sure to give his offering to the Blue Heron! He enjoyed performing on open mic nights at the Sawmill in Merrill, going by the name “Jack Pines (Speaks to the Sky). The comradery with Travis, Justin and the guys meant a lot to him. Nate was a peaceful and happy person. He was a great brother, son, friend, and always “the fun uncle”. He will be missed dearly, but memories of him remain forever in our hearts.
Nate is survived by his parents: Gerry & Tammy (Ellenbecker) Allar of Harrison Hills, sister: Mindy (Daryl) Kriefall of Port Washington, WI, with their children: Adeline and Dayne, brother: John (Katie) Allar of Menomonee Falls, WI, with their children: Ali and Davy, sister: Margo Allar of Wausau, WI, many aunts, uncles and cousins, along with his sidekick cat: “Shadow”. He was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents and an infant niece: Azure Allar.
