Ted J. Kiar, age 89, departed on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Froedert Menomonee Falls Hospital. Ted was born in Tomahawk, Wisconsin on August 18, 1934. At his request, there will be no memorial service.
Ted was a retired teacher from Tomahawk and Merrill. The outdoors were something he adored. Ted found enjoyment in hunting and fishing, would often take walks in the woods where he would recognize birds with ease by sight and sound, and knew plants by sight and often took along family members. He moved to Milwaukee in 1999 to be closer to family. Enjoyed working at the Humane Society in Milwaukee.
Preceded in death by his parents and 10 siblings. Survivors include nieces and nephews as well as their families.
