The Drovers will be playing everything from country to rock and maybe even a few polkas at the free Thorogood Thursday/Gazebo Nights concert in Normal park this evening. Carl Jackson will kick things off as the opening act at 5 p.m., and The Drovers will begin at 6 p.m.
Concessions will be available on site. Bring some cash, a lawn chair or blanket, and the entire family.
This evening’s sponsors include Thorogood by Weinbrenner Shoe Company, the Merrill Police Benevolent Association, Merrill Firefighter Charities, Merrill Millwork, Chips, and SGS.
Copper Box to close out the season
Mark your calendar to attend the final concert of the season next Thursday, Aug. 31. The Northwoods Bassist will open at 5 p.m., followed by a fan favorite.
Danny and Michelle and the band Copper Box will close out a very successful and well-attended free summer concert series with their performance. Come and enjoy the sounds of this quartet loaded with energy and instruments, influenced by blues, jazz, polka, and rock.
Sponsored by Thorogood, Chips, and the Merrill Foundation.
Concessions will also be available.
