Teresa Ann Zastrow, 66, of Merrill, WI, passed away on July 14, 2023. She was born on May 23, 1957, in Merrill, WI, to the late William Zastrow and Florence Duginski  Zastrow. Teresa was a quiet and kind-hearted individual who had a good sense of humor. She always rooted for the underdog and was a natural caretaker of others. Early in her adult life, Teresa ventured West where she lived and raised her son Ben as a single mother in both Washington and Montana. She appreciated the solitude and beauty of nature and the mountains, often finding solace in the outdoors. She enjoyed hunting and fishing, allowing her to connect with the natural world around her. Many family members followed her lead and headed West to settle in Montana.

Teresa leaves behind a loving family, including her sisters Vicki Zastrow of Kalispel, MT and Katie (Dave) Morrison of Merrill, WI, her brothers Glen (Jum) Zastrow of Ban Chang, Thailand and David (Shannon Keough) Zastrow of Wausau, WI, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Benjamin Zastrow, her sister Gail Zastrow, and her parents William Zastrow and Florence Duginski Zastrow.

To honor Teresa’s wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held. Teresa will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of her loved ones.
