Nominate a business, individual, or family who positively impacts our community

Food For Kids, a non-profit organization in Merrill dedicated to eliminating child hunger in the community, will host a “Love Your Neighbor” Banquet in October to raise funds for their cause.
As a part of this year’s banquet, Food For Kids wants to honor their “neighbors” who “positively impact” the Merrill area community, and they are asking the community to nominate a business, individual, or family deserving of recognition.
Nominations are currently being accepted in three categories.

  • Corporate Neighbor of the Year
  • Small Business of the Year
  • Neighbor of the Year (Individuals or a Family)
Nominations will close on Aug. 31, 2023.
The Food For Kids Committee will review all nominations and select a winner for each category. Winners will be notified by Sept. 29.
The “Love Your Neighbor” awards will be presented at the Food For Kids “Love Your Neighbor” Banquet on Oct. 28, 2023, at Les & Jim’s Lincoln Lanes, which begins at 4 p.m. Organizers are hopeful all nominees will attend the banquet.
At the banquet, the Food For Kids Board of Directors will also recognize and present an award to their “Partner Agency of the Year.”
