On June 17 and 18, 2023, the Gleason Area Lions Club held their annual Heritage Days event on their Bradley Street grounds in Gleason.
Saturday the main event was the mud bogs, with lots of mud-slinging fun for all ages to to watch and food and drinks available on-site.
On Sunday, a combination of activities drew attendees, starting with a pancake breakfast and a Luther Memorial Church bake sale from 8 a.m. to noon.
Truck and tractor pulls began at 11 a.m. and other food and beverages were again available on the grounds. In the evening, DJ Ice provided music. Raffles also added to the fun.
Attendees were welcome to camp on the grounds, and some visitors took advantage of the opportunity, staying for the entire weekend.
