Three MAPS students attend Special Olympics State
Three Merrill athletes represented Merrill Area Public Schools at the Special Olympics State competition in Whitewater on June 8, 9, and 10, 2023.
Special Olypmics athletes Colton Smith, Kamryn Klade and Chloe Hipke were all smiles as they displayed their medals at the event.
“It was really a neat experience for the kids,” said Dawn Smith, Colton’s mom. “There were over 1200 athletes participating.”
