James ‘Jim’ Pankow
James ‘Jim’ Pankow, 92, of Merrill, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 15, 2023.
Jim is survived by his wife, Emily Pankow of Merrill; daughter, Sharon (John) Zortman of Rib Mountain; son, Jim Pankow Jr. of Plymouth, WI; seven grandchildren, Mary (Rick) Klemm, Kristine Downing, Kathleen (Rick) Swoboda, Amy Nichols, Aron (Nicole) Pankow, Andrew (Annette) Zortman, and Jennifer (Brad) Knispel; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, August and Josephine ‘Jo’ Pankow; infant granddaughter, Susan Pankow; and three sisters, Ellen, LoRae, and Rosalie.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held. Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill, is assisting the family.
