Lloyd H. Buck, Jr., 65, of Merrill, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Lloyd was born June 23, 1957, in Merrill, son of Ruth (Schulz) Buck and the late Lloyd H. Buck, Sr. He graduated from Merrill High School and furthered his education at UW – Madison in the Farm& Industry Short Course program. He then went on to earn an associate degree in Heavy Duty Diesel Equipment Mechanics from Fox Valley Technical College and spent his career in the industry. He enjoyed working on the family farm and volunteering in the community, and loved the outdoors, where he hunted, made maple syrup and spent time in the woods.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Laurie (Radloff) Buck; children, Rachel (Dan) Reisig and Matthew Buck; and one grandchild; mother, Ruth Buck; sisters, Lynn (Tim) Seidler and Mavis (Scott) Bonke; brother, David (Cheryl) Buck; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Lloyd’s life will take place in June. Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill, is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests you plant a tree in memory of Lloyd or make a donation to a religious organization or charity of your choice.
