At the April 18, 2023, Lincoln County Board meeting, County Supervisors also unanimously approved the adoption of the following Vision Statement and Branding:

Lincoln County Vision Statement
Lincoln County will preserve the unique characteristics and resources that make it an exceptional place to live, work, and play; we will work together, holding ourselves and each other accountable, to weave the fabric of community and provide opportunity to our citizens.

Lincoln County – Where the Northwoods Start and the Adventure Begins

This marks the first time Lincoln County has had a developed and articulated Vision Statement and Branding.
On Jan. 31, 2023, the Lincoln County Board of Supervisors and other community members participated in a facilitated process during which they developed the Lincoln County Visions Statement to help them “develop a future desired state.” The Administrative and Legislative Committee then met on March 21 to discuss the recommended statement and made a few minor changes to develop the final wording.
Articulating a Vision Statement for Lincoln County definitively will help the Board “guide the decision making process to best allocate resources in a manner that aligns with operations of the County with that vision” the resolution said.
The branding statement, or tagline, for Lincoln County helps direct future strategic planning and marketing of Lincoln County, the resolution said.
