April Critic’s Choice free movie event
T. B. Scott Free Library will host their next Critic’s Choice Movie Event on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
The movie they will present is set in 1962 and is a biographical comedy-drama about a famous African American classical pianist and his Italian American bodyguard driver. As they travel the deep south on a controversial concert tour, they develop a lifelong friendship.
This movie won three Academy Awards, including best picture, and stars Mahershala Ali and Viggo Mortensen.
As always, there will be free popcorn and refreshments.
