Kurt Frey Rushing Sr., passed away suddenly in flight to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on March 22, 2023. He was born on May 26, 1969 in Monroe, Louisiana. The son of the late Fred and Ruth (Chapman) Rushing of Mangham, Louisiana. He married his wife Kelly Ziegelbauer on November 4, 1999 in Merrill, WI. They have three sons together. He attended Riverfield Academy in Rayville, LA class of ’87. Kurt was a loving and devoted husband and father. He gave anything and everything for his family. He was a good friend and would try and help anyone he could. He enjoyed playing and collecting guitars and vintage firearms. Kurt enjoyed going to the movies with his sons and he was a big fan of Sci-Fi. His favorite thing to do was just spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Kelly Rushing and their three sons; Kurt Jr., Christian and Ian, three brothers; Fred (Connie) Rushing III of Monroe, LA, Paul Rushing of Maryland and Eric (Angela) Rushing of Mangham, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Ruth Rushing.
