John (Jack) Paul Borgert, 92 of Merrill passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on March 16, 2023. He was born on November 24, 1930. He entered the United States Airforce and proudly served his country. Jack loved to hunt, play ball, and drive around. He also played guitar for Finn Power. He had a joke every day for everyone.
He is survived by his daughters Debra Koekpke of Merril, Jackie (Tom Pineapple) Mattos of Merrill, son Brian (Patty) of Merrill, grandkids Jennifer (Brian), Kimberly Kreie, Great Grandkids Alexandria (David), Dylan (Jade), Olivia (Cole), David, great great grandchild River. He is preceded in death by his wonderful wife Loretta M. (Sherfinski) Borgert, his twin sister Joann, mother Mabel and father Bert Borgert, brothers, Ugene Learman, James (Thomas) Borgert, two sons at birth many nieces and nephews.
