Leroy M. Woller

Leroy N. Woller, 85, of Merrill, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Woodland Court Elder Services, Merrill. Leroy was born December 26, 1937, in Merrill, son of the late Norman and Lorna (Hinz) Woller. He married Joyce Zogg on September 14, 1957, at St. Stephen’s United Church of Christ in Merrill. She preceded him in death on February 19, 2022. Leroy was a dairy farmer, he also worked at Fromm Brothers Mink Farm, Northern Door, and logged, which he enjoyed very much. Leroy enjoyed being outside with his dogs, fishing, visiting neighbors, family reunions, participating in tractor pulls, and Polka Time.

 Leroy is survived by his daughters, Lynn (Dave) Wegner of Merrill, Cindy (Darrell) Steen of Dorchester, and Laurie (Scott) Wegner of Merrill; sons, Evan (Dawn) Woller, and Marlon Woller both of Merrill; nine grandchildren, Adam (Stephanie) Wegner, Amber Wegner, Neil Duranceau, Justin (Nikki) Duranceau, Breanna (Kyle) Hoffman, Katelynn Woller, Cordell Woller, Grant Woller, and Elena Woller; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Vernette Wendt; brother, Larry (Lois) Woller; Sister-in-law, Alice (Ervin) Steen; brothers-in-law, Andrew Zogg, Paul Zogg, and Eugene Stahel; and many nieces and nephews. Leroy was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-four years, Joyce Woller; parents, Norman and Lorna Woller; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Orville Wendt, Victor and Betty Lipka, and Mary Stahel.

The funeral service for Leroy will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Town of Berlin. The Rev. Andrew DeGier will officiate. Burial will follow in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Town of Berlin. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.
