The T. B. Scott Library is hosting their next Critic’s Choice Movie Event on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
The comedy/drama to be shown showcases Channing Tatum directing and starring as a former Army Ranger suffering from PTSD who is given a special assignment of escorting the aggressive military dog, Lulu, also suffering from PTSD, from Washington to Arizona, for the funeral of his friend and former partner. Afterward, he is ordered to take the dog to be euthanized. The ensuing road trip is full of mayhem and mishap. This film is inspired by the road trip Tatum took with his own dog who was dying of cancer.
The library will provide refreshments, and as always, the Merrill Transit System will provide free rides to and from the library. Just call ahead to schedule your pickup for this library movie event.
