80 For Brady (Now playing in theatres)
This film is rated PG-13 for language, drug use

Greetings, my friends. This week was date night with my lovely wife, Mary, and we decided to see 80 For Brady. Now I wanted to see Knock at the Cabin (review for that one to follow next), but you know the saying: “Happy wife, happy life.” So 80 For Brady it was.
I am here to tell you that this film is simply delightful. I howled with laughter, and I mean good old-fashioned belly laughs at the antics of the main characters.
Basic premise: Four octogenarians get together every week to watch Tom Brady lead the Patriots and keep their friendship active. The reason why they do this is part of the main plot. Anyway, one day they get it into their heads that they should go to the Super Bowl, and that’s where it gets really going.
From Sally Field eating hot wings to Rita Moreno eating marijuana-laced gummies to Jane Fonda’s erotic fiction about Ron Gronkowski and Lily Tomlin’s obsession with Tom Brady, these four ladies get into some serious shenanigans, and we are along for the ride.
Loaded with some great cameos and a fantastic message about the nature of and importance of friendship, 80 For Brady is absolutely worth the price of admission. So grab your spouse or significant other, or better yet, grab your mom, and head to the Cosmo for this one folks! It’s wonderful.
Four out of five solid stars for 80 For Brady. I loved it!

*Side note: For the record, there are two types of men in my age bracket–those that had a crush on Rita Moreno, and those that lie about not having a crush on Rita Moreno.
