Merrill Ice Reflections Figure Skating Club will be “Spinning Through the Hits” this weekend
Merrill Ice Reflections Figure Skating Club will present their annual show, “Spinning Through the Hits” this weekend, with performances on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 12, at 1:00 p.m. Tickets are $10. Children age 3 and under admitted free. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance at the Merrill Chamber of Commerce or online at www.merrillskate.org. A live stream is also available for purchase.
The local skating club, established in 1995, is a non-profit with 66 members, 2 professional figure skating coaches–Lea Beckman and Montana Grabowsky; 1 junior coach–Madison Altman-Wendt; and 4 intern coaches–Chloe Belant, McKenna Meyer, Brooklyn Kraegenbrink, and Kambyl Mattke.
The annual performance will showcase the skating of local skaters ages 4 through 17.
Merrill Ice Reflections offers weekly lessons, held Wednesday evenings for Basic Skills and Sunday evenings for Advanced Skaters. Private coaching is also available to members.
