Merrill Varsity Dance Team places second at Regionals with Hip Hop routine

“The Merrill Varsity Dance Team took on Regionals at DC Everest High School this past weekend and placed second with their Hip Hop routine,” Cassandra Lezotte, Varsity Dance Team Coach said. “This means they will qualify for State!”
State competition takes place this Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023, in LaCrosse. The Merrill Varsity Dance Team is scheduled to perform at 12:37 p.m.
Awards will take place at 2:25 p.m.
Locally, the Merrill Varsity Dance Team will perform the routine that earned them second place at the Merrill Girls Varsity Basketball home game against the Crandon Girls in the Merrill High School (MHS) Fieldhouse on Thursday, Feb. 2. The game starts at 7:15 p.m., and the Dance Team will perform at halftime. Come to see their routine and cheer on the Merrill Girls Varsity Basketball Team.

Annual Kids Camp
The Merrill Varsity Dance team will hold their annual Kids Camp the following week, on Feb. 8, 9, and 10. Kids from preschool through 8th grade are welcome to attend. The cost is $30 and advance registration is required, no later than Feb. 3. [To register, contact Coach Lezotte at 715.409.9419 or [email protected].]
The kids at Kids Camp will learn a routine from the Merrill Dance Team and then perform it during halftime at the Merrill Girls Varsity Basketball home game against Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln in the Merrill High School (MHS) Fieldhouse on Friday, Feb. 10, which begins at 7:15 p.m.
