Three candidates have confirmed they will run for the three open positions on the Merrill Area Public Schools (MAPS) Board of Education (BOE) in April.
Incumbents Kevin Blake and Ronald Liberty will run for another term on the MAPS BOE, and former Board member Norbert (Nubs) Ashbeck will again run for a place on the Board. All three names will appear on the April 4, 2023, ballot.
Voters will be asked to vote for up to three candidates to fill three available seats on the MAPS BOE.
Maria Volpe filed a notification of noncandidacy on Nov. 22, 2022, and will not run for another term on the Board.
