Church Mutual held another successful United Way campaign to raise funds for area nonprofits this year. Employee pledges plus matching funds from CM CARES, the Church Mutual foundation, equaled a $216,854 contribution to Merrill Area United Way. The money will benefit United Way affiliate organizations that support those in need in the Merrill community. Church Mutual employees pledged an additional $27,805 to nonprofits that are not affiliated with Merrill Area United Way, bringing the total amount raised to more than $244,000.
