On Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022, the East Merrill Newman United Bluejacks played Mosinee in a tournament at the Mosinee Recreation Center. It was a tough game for the Bluejacks, because Mosinee came out fierce, scoring a goal in the first 30 seconds of the game, and they didn’t let up. Bluejacks Goalie Truman Schull has his work cut out for him defending his goal, and he did an incredible job, keeping Mosinee down to single digits in the final score. But the Bluejacks offense just couldn’t get one in for a score and remained scoreless throughout the game.
The highlight of the game for EMU? Defense for sure: “Truman Schull had 44 saves for the Bluejacks,” EMU Assistant Coach Greg Glovinski said. His performance in the game was the standout. Now the Bluejacks just need to get focused to get their offense on the board as they move forward in their season.
Box Score
East Merrill Newman United 0 @ Mosinee 9
