Lincoln County Board of Supervisors accepting applications for Supervisor vacancy in District 5

Applications are currently being accepted to fill a vacancy on the Lincoln County Board of Supervisors for District 5 (City of Merrill Wards 9 and 10). Interested applicants who live in Wards 9 and 10 of the City of Merrill are eligible to apply. (Call the Lincoln County Clerk’s office at 715.539.1019 or go to this link to see the boundaries: https://co.lincoln.wi.us/sites/default/files/fileattachments/county_board/page/42836/district_5_map_2021.pdf.)
Interested individuals should send a letter of interest and personal qualifications to Chairman Don Friske, c/o Lincoln County Clerk’s Office, 801 N. Sales St, Suite 201, Merrill, WI 54452. Letters of interest may also be emailed to: [email protected]
Preference will be given to those applications received by 4:00 p.m. on Dec. 12, 2022.
The Lincoln County Board of Supervisors is expected to approve the appointment to fill this vacancy at its Dec. 18, 2022, meeting. The successful candidate will serve the unexpired term of Nathan Peterson ending April 15, 2024.
