Did you know that community members can utilize the FAB Lab at Merrill High School (MHS) for personal projects or projects for their business when school is not in session? Many people don’t know that is an option.
But Joshua Zalewski, Fab Lab Director, wants to get the word out that the FAB Lab is a community resource.
The community is invited to check out the Merrill FAB Lab at MHS this Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022, from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at the FAB Lab’s first Community Open Lab Night of the year.
“We will be discussing the opportunities available to you and future training dates for you to use your Merrill FAB Lab for personal projects,” said Zalewski. “We are excited to show you the capabilities you have in OUR community’s FAB Lab.”
“We are trying to get the community to come use the facility outside of school hours,” he said. “We plan to do a tour that evening showing our capabilities and make plans for future events.”
Visitors are asked to park in the MHS east parking lot and enter through door number 10. Signs will be posted showing the way to the FAB Lab.
