Chloe McRae, a Junior at Merrill High School (MHS), has been named Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 15, 2022. Chloe is on the Merrill Bluejays Varsity Volleyball Team, and this is her second year playing Varsity. She started playing volleyball in the fourth grade at Washington Elementary School, then played for the Junior Jays at Prairie River School (PRMS), and played on the JV 2 Volleyball team at MHS in her Freshman year. Chloe now also helps coach the Merrill Junior Jays Volleyball Team at PRMS.
At school, Chloe is a part of the LINK Crew and belongs to the National Honor Society. She also works part time in the office with her mom at Lincoln Wood Products.
In her spare time, Chloe likes to hang out with her friends, go swimming and tubing, hang out at the pool, and go 4-wheeling. She also taught herself to play the piano this year and really enjoys playing and practicing.
The daughter of Lisa and Chris McRae of Merrill, Chloe has a 4.0 GPA. She is still exploring her interests and trying to decide what she wants to do after high school graduation.
