Charlie Johnson of Merrill got his first-ever hole-in-one on Hole #17 at the Merrill Golf Course on July 19, 2022, while golfing with friends from high school that he golfs with every Tuesday since “forever,” Charlie’s wife, Marge said.
Paul Bjerke, PGA Professional at Merrill Golf Club, said the shot was from 140 yards, using a seven iron, and confirms Charlie’s hole-in-one was witnessed by Steve Ott, Tom Dotter, and Rick Bonnell.
