Kevin D. Haring

Kevin D. Haring, age 55, lifelong resident of Tomahawk, WI, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, in the arms of his wife, Stacey, and surrounded by his family at the UW Hospital in Madison, WI. Kevin was born in Tomahawk on February 25, 1967, to the late David and Kathleen (Buss) Haring. He was married to Stacey Hanneman on June 9, 2007; she survives. Kevin was a 1985 graduate of the Tomahawk High School and later received his degree in Law Enforcement from the Northcentral Technical College. He was a longtime member and Scoutmaster of the Boy Scouts of America where he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Kevin worked as a dispatcher at both the Tomahawk Police Department and the Lincoln County
Sheriff’s Department for many years. He also was a deputy for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department. Kevin enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gaming, and cruising. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Stacey Haring, of Plant City, FL; his daughter, Gia Haring, also of Plant City, FL; his sisters, Heidi Haring, of Milwaukee, WI, and Cindi Haring, of Oxnard, CA; his foreign exchange student he thought of as a son, Waji, of Pakistan; his father and mother-in-law, Ron and Debbie Hanneman, of Wisconsin Rapids; his brother-in-law, Scott (Marc Leyton) Hanneman, of Dover, FL; and his sister-in-law, Marie (Sam) Grover, of Oviedo, FL. Kevin is further survived by his dog, Phoenix, three nieces and one nephew, and many extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Kathleen.

Memorial services for Kevin Haring will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at 7:00 PM, at Generations Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation from 3:00 PM until the time of services at 7:00 PM. Generations Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
