Tomahawk Community Bank (TCB) and Merrill Community Bank (MCB) have combined to form one new consistent brand and became known as Crossbridge Community Bank, effective Tuesday, June 21, 2022.
“We are the same bank with a new name and new look. We’ve updated our brand, but not the people,” the bank said in a press release dated June 20, 2022.

“We have been operating under two brands since our merger five years ago. As we’ve fully integrated our teams and our cultures, we wanted a new name that would represent our coming together as a unified bank with a single purpose” and “a name that would embody our mission and speak to our commitment to help friends, neighbors, and communities get where they want to go. We are still a true community bank and always will be,” the release said.

“Since 1920, our bank has been a part of the fabric of our towns. We’ve helped customers overcome obstacles and forged deep and lasting connections.” Kathy Rankin, President of Crossbridge Community Bank stated.

“Our new logo is a sign of that shared history, of optimism and hope, of unity and connection. It conveys the strength of our past – and the potential of our future.” Rankin added.

“Our customers will not see significant changes. Their account numbers and product offerings will all remain unchanged. The goal of a name change and look was to simply be able to tell our story more clearly and allow for growth that will carry us forward. It is truly as though we are crossing a bridge into our next 100 years,” said Crossbridge Community Bank CEO Mark Zulliger.

Zulliger and Rankin invite customers to stop in and see what is new and, for those who aren’t current customers, to see what they have to offer and learn what makes a mutual bank different from other financial institutions.

“As we move into our next 100 years, we will keep our customers and our communities as our primary purpose. We promise to keep our purpose first,” the release said.

The bank’s new website is: www.crossbridge.bank.

The new signage for Crossbridge Community Bank is now in place and the complete transition to the new name is in progress.
