05-02-2022

At 10:57 a.m. an individual was reported to have driven off from a gas station without paying for their gas. Investigation is ongoing.

At 12:21 p.m. officers were dispatched to a report of a male attempting to take an item from a business without paying for it. The male was confronted by an employee before leaving, and the merchandise was recovered before the male fled from the scene on foot. The male was later located by officers and taken into custody as a result of the incident.

At 1:28 p.m. an individual reported that his vehicle had been damaged sometime over the weekend while parked on the street. Investigation is ongoing.

At 2:07 p.m. a homeowner reported that she had found a small hole in one of the windows in her residence. It was unknown when the window was damaged but thought to have been caused by a BB. Investigation is ongoing.

At 9:23 a.m. a business reported that an individual had come in the day before and stolen some food. Investigation is ongoing.

At 1:46 p.m. a caller reported her adult daughter had grabbed her around the throat following an argument. The daughter was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and bail jumping.

At 4:27 p.m. an officer assisted Langlade County Sheriff’s Office in arresting a male for charges in their county.

At 9:54 a.m. a male was arrested for a probation violation at the request of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.

At 3:16 p.m. a bank reported receiving a counterfeit $100 bill. The bill was found to have come from a local business as part of their till. The bill will be sent to the U.S. Secret Service Agency.

At 2:18 p.m. an individual reported that there had been a purchase on her Walmart account that she had not made. Investigation is ongoing.

At 4:48 p.m. a local business reported that they had observed a male fail to scan multiple items as he was checking out. The male was able to leave the business before employees could confront him. Investigation is ongoing.

05-07-2022

At 6:17 p.m. officers responded to an apartment after a female was reported to have beaten up her brother and was threatening to harm herself. After speaking with all parties involved, it was found that one female at the residence had gotten into an argument with another female and male also residing the residence. During the course of the argument, the male was struck by the female and property was damaged. As a result of the investigation, the female was taken into custody.

At 8:30 p.m. an individual reported that she had observed a parked vehicle be struck by another vehicle, which had immediately left the scene. The striking vehicle was later located by officers and the driver was found to be intoxicated through the standard roadside sobriety tests. The driver was taken into custody for operating under the influence.

At 11:46 a.m. officers were dispatched to a verbal altercation occurring between two females in the driveway of a residence. After speaking with the two females, it was found that the argument occurred after one of the females asked the other to leave the residence. No one was reported to have become physical during the altercation and so both parties were warned about getting into the disagreement.
