On April 8, 2022, Ambassadors from the Merrill Area Chamber of Commerce gathered at Strive 4 Life LLC, 730 E. Second St., Merrill to welcome this new business to the Merrill community and celebrate their Grand Opening. Owned by Tammy Strehlow and Kathy Olson, Strive 4 Life LLC offers drug and alcohol testing, including urine testing, hair follicle drug testing, breath alcohol, and specialty testing; health and wellness screenings; DNA testing by appointment (for paternity, siblings, and DNA origin); Audio-gram; background checks; finger printing with Field Print; bio-metric health assessment; vision acuity testing; respirator/mask fit testing; and will soon offer eScreen and eReader from Abbott Labs, as well as DOT and Fit for Duty physicals as soon as they find/hire the “right” person to perform them. Walk-ins are welcome for drug and alcohol testing.
Strive 4 Life works with commercial accounts, such as businesses for their new hires and for wellness screening. They also work with individuals; however, they do not accept health insurance at this time. Rather, clients can order lab testing directly through Strive 4 Life or bring a lab order from their doctor to Strive 4 Life for completion, which may be less expensive than running it through insurance with high deductibles. “Take control of your health and health care costs by ordering affordable laboratory tests!” the owners say.

Strive 4 Life also offers free blood pressure screening every second Tuesday of the month from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and walk-ins are welcome.
