Gress re-brands business to: The Chiropractic Wellness Center

“In 2021 we decided to do a re-branding of our practice,” said Dr. Kate Gress, owner of what used to be called The Wellness Center at Gress Chiropractic on the northeast corner of Center Ave. and E. Main St. in Merrill.

The business recently underwent a “refresh” including their signage and is one of a number of businesses in our community making upgrades or improvements to their business in a wide variety of ways. For Gress, the changes were more of an overall nature and included renaming the business, now known simply as The Chiropractic Wellness Center.

“The impetus behind this re-branding started with wanting to re-do our logo, which we felt was outdated,” she said.

“As we started thinking about that process, we decided to shorten up our name from the Wellness Center at Gress Chiropractic to The Chiropractic Wellness Center. I felt that even though I am the sole owner and CEO of the business, the business isn’t about me, and I don’t need my name on the door,” Gress said.

“We are a group practice and have three doctors and an intern in our practice, and it’s all about each of us giving the best care to our community,” she said.

“We feel that the name fits, as we focus on overall wellness of our patients,” Gress said. “We are a family practice and see people of all ages, from birth to our oldest patient being 97. We see people with a variety of ailments, such as headaches, digestive issues, sinus problems, issues with the jaw, shoulders, knees, feet, back and neck pain, kids and babies with colic, ear infections, bed wetting, asthma, allergies, and ADHD.”

“However, we always strive to educate our patients that chiropractic isn’t just about fixing problems,” she said. “It’s just as much about preventing problems and keeping the body healthy and well, so it doesn’t break down. Hence, we are now The Chiropractic Wellness Center.”
