Olson is January Youth Optimist at PRMS

Eighth grader Jace Olson has been named January Youth Optimist at Prairie River Middle School. Ms. Danielle nominated Jace saying, “Jace is one of the hardest working students that I’ve had the pleasure to work with. He strives to do well in school and enjoys learning. Jace’s attitude, work ethic, and dynamic personality make him stand out in a crowd. There hasn’t been a single day in class when he hasn’t been able to make us all laugh out loud.”

“Jace has a kind soul and a natural ability to help others,” Ms. Danielle said. “Countless times I’ve seen Jace help his peers when he sees them struggling. He is accepting of everyone and displays kindness wherever he goes. Jace always does what is asked of him and he is continuously seeking out opportunities to motivate his peers and bring fun into the classroom. I’m honored to nominate him for this award. Jace has received student of the quarter, honor roll and is a part of student council. He participates in Football, Basketball, Wrestling, and Track & Field. He is involved in Youth Rugby and Youth Group at St. Johns. He is described as determined, hard working and advocates for others.”
Jace is the son of Jamie Pieper of Merrill and Jothan Olson of Merrill.
