The Lincoln County Landfill, N4750 Landfill Lane, Merrill, will be closed on Saturday, March 19, and Saturday, April 16, 2022, due to staffing shortages, according to a recent release from the Lincoln County Solid Waste Department. They will resume opening on the first and third Saturdays each month beginning in May.
“It is unfortunate that we have to close the landfill on these two Saturdays, as many locals depend on it for their disposal needs, but until we can refill some vacant positions, we will have to limit our Saturday hours to one day per month,” said Solid Waste Manager, Dan Miller.
