LOCATION:   Merrill Expo Center, 303 N. Sales St., Merrill, WI 54452

The public is invited to attend an evening with Merrill Mayoral candidates Bill Bialecki, former Mayor of Merrill from 2010 to 2018, and Steve Hass, current Alderman of Merrill Common Council. City Clerk candidates, Lori L. Anderson-Malm and John Guenther, will also be featured.

The forum will include a moderated debate, an intermission, and will conclude with the candidates answering a selection of previously-submitted questions from the public. Art Lersch from the UW Madison-Lincoln Co Extension office will be the moderator.

The event will be livestreamed for remote viewing from the City of Merrill website. Visit the City of Merrill webpage at: https://www.ci.merrill.wi.us/ on March 14 for viewing options.

Light refreshments will be provided. Masks and social distancing encouraged.

The event is made possible thanks to T.B. Scott Free Library, UW Madison-Extension Lincoln County, the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin, and the City of Merrill.

To submit a question for the Mayoral or City Clerk candidates, go to the City of Merrill website and select “Mayoral/City Clerk Forum” in the left-side menu column, or visit the T.B. Scott Free Library, 106 W. 1st St., Merrill. Questions must be submitted by Monday, March 14, at 5:00 p.m.
